Behavior
We will be using a colored “clip chart” to monitor our behavior and our choices. Your child will have a clip that they will physically move up or down the chart, depending on their choices. Everyone will begin on "Ready to Learn". Please keep in mind that your child may not move every single day- for them to move up, they must go above and beyond in their behavior choices! The chart below explains how the clip chart works. I believe this will be a positive way for students to monitor their choices and will give them behavior goals to strive for! Your child will note what level they ended the day on in their agenda. If your child clipped down, but moved back up, they end the day on the good note. If your child clips to parent contact, but then corrects the behavior, I will still contact you about the misbehavior so we can modify and help set them up for a better day.
